March 1, 2026

The City of Shreveport has experienced a water transmission line failure that has impacted water service in our area. Throughout the day today, water pressure at the Line Avenue sites gradually declined. This evening, Corey also checked the Campus site, as it is on the edge of the impacted area.

As of 8:00 p.m. this evening, toilets were not functioning at any of the sites. In addition, the lack of water pressure means there is no fire suppression available at the 8700 Line Ave. location.

As a result, 1st Shift Production has been canceled for tomorrow. We are hopeful that water pressure will recover and allow us to operate 2nd Shift, but that determination will be made around lunchtime tomorrow.

Tomorrow, only the Maintenance, Shipping, and Receiving teams will be permitted in the buildings. Service Pack operations will not run. This is the maximum occupancy we can safely support with manual flushing and/or the potential use of portable restroom accommodations.

For office employees, please work from home. If you need to pick up a laptop to do so, you may come by to retrieve one. For team members without laptops, please work with your manager to make up time later in the week.

Due to this closure, Assembly will follow an adjusted production schedule this week. Assembly production will run Tuesday through Friday, with overtime on Saturday as needed.
