“With Dean HD fryers, more of your hard-earned energy dollars go into the fryer and the fried food, and less goes unused up the vent or into the kitchen,” said Brenda Fried, vice president of marketing for Frymaster, an Enodis company. “That means cost savings to plough back into your bottom line, better-quality fried foods and satisfied customers.”
The Decathlon HD fryers also put innovative technology to work to maximize fryer performance, making them the Most Valuable Players of high-efficiency fryers. Dean’s Thermatron solid state temperature control system ensures pinpoint temperature control, accurate to within plus or minus one degree. As a result, oil heats quickly on start-up, and oil temperature recovers quickly when frozen product is added for cooking. This instant and well controlled response to changes in cooking loads maintains oil quality and safeguards the quality of the foods being cooked. It also lowers operators’ gas consumption per pound of food cooked, and reduces idle costs.
The high-production Dean HD fryers are built to last. Their simple design and durable materials – diffusers are stainless steel, burners are cast iron, and the front, door and sides are stainless steel – keep maintenance to a minimum.
“When you buy a Dean HD fryer, you get a high-production workhorse that is built to last,” said Fried. “That’s a smart investment for any team.”
